Every Saturday 9-3pm Hunter Wine Country Markets

Located just up the road at De Bortoli Wines are the weekly Hunter Wine Country Markets. With handmade and artisan stalls, you’ll find lots of great items at this all weather venue. Check out the facebook page link in the title for updates.

Most Saturdays Handmade in the Hunter Markets


At this completely local and handmade market, you can meet the ‘makers’, taste the gourmet produce and browse unique gifts. With many dates scheduled to coincide with major events, you won’t have to miss out on these genuine local country style markets. Check the Facebook page link in the title for the latest news. Scheduled dates for 2019 are May 25, June 8, 9 & 22, July 20 & 27, August 10 & 24, September 14 & 28 and October 5&6.


3rd Saturday of the Month - Hunter Valley Gourmet Markets

The Hunter Valley boasts some of the country’s best wine and produce. At the new Hunter Valley Gourmet Markets at First Creek Wines – it’s your chance to sample and indulge in some delicious treats to eat alongside all that fabulous wine!

4th Sunday of the Month Hope Estate Markets

This relatively new market day is a great addition to a relaxing Sunday in the Hunter Valley. The Facebook link, will give you more info.

Hunter Valley Events and Festivals

Cheese and Chocolate Festival Sat 6 July & Sun 7 July

What could be better than a day spent at Hope Estate with cheese, chocolate, wine and loads more? With live entertainment, kids zone and free demo’s, there is not a better way to spend your weekend!

Beer and BBQ Festival Sat 3 & Sun 4 August

Over 40 craft beers and ciders to sample along with finger licking BBQ delights at this new festival. Don’t miss the heat from the  Steak Cook off on Saturday and the Australiasian BBQ Alliance Championship on Sunday. There will be entertainment, kids zone, deisplays and demonstrations – what a great reason to hit the HUnter for the weekend!

End 2 End Festival Sat 14 September

Wine, food, music and more! The second year of this progressive event which takes you to more than 15 of the best local wineries will be even better than last year. With shuttle buses to take you to the venues participating, there’s no doubt that this is the best way to experience the best of the Hunter Valley region.
